| Course Description |
| ADHS Cultural Competency for Clinical Staff is a requirement for all new Southwest Behavioral Health employees; however, it is open for any staff that would like to attend. It is an 8-hour course covering many aspects dealing with some of the cultural issues in the Behavioral Health Industry. ADHS requires all new hires to attend this training within 90 days after their hire date. Class size is not limited, however registration is required. |

Participants will:
- Increase clinical effectiveness in working with consumers and colleagues from other cultures, backgrounds and belief systems.
- Develop and continue to strengthen their personal and organizational cultural competence within the professional setting.
