Course Description:

Special education diagnoses are different from DSM diagnoses, and there are different criteria for receiving services as the schools are focused on educational needs. It is important to have good communication between professionals providing services both inside and outside the schools. This Early Bird Lecture will provide an overview of information from the school psychology perspective, and will allow for questions and answers about hwo to work most effectively together to meet the needs of children and families.
